Flying in the Time of Covid (Part 1)
Jan 27, 2022Many people around the world have been grounded for the past two years. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to travel over the past couple of months and am about to leave on my third adventure to Greece in the morning.
I traveled both domestically in the United States and Internationally. I also used two different airlines, and upgraded to First Class on one leg of the International flight. For me, experiencing the luxury allows me to be more authentic and in integrity with offering luxury travel products to past and future clients and is of paramount importance.
Both airlines I used--American and Delta--were a good experience for me personally. I chose the earliest morning flights and encountered no delays. I recommend choosing the timing of flights instead of focusing too much on the cost.
How and when and which airline to book with can be extremely confusing, especially if you haven’t traveled in a few years. That's why I recommend that you use a travel advisor--like me--to plan out all your travel, including connections, transfers, hotels, experiences, tours, etc. Leisure travel should be self-care and not something that exhausts you.
In the next part, I'll go over the process of getting checked in and upgrading individual legs of your flight. Stay tuned for part 2. . . .
